What is so impressive about this band is their inclusiveness, they way they've played with so many varying people and artists- as big as they are they still enjoy other people's works and enjoy saying so. They're old guys like me but they have the joi d'vivre of youth. Sometimes, in the case of Courtney Hole, it doesn't work out.

Probably not the best thing about them, but I greatly admire that the lineup has been roughly the same for 25 or so years. Sure Jim joined for a while and Mark's with them now. But it's been that core four for a solid while. I think that's pretty cool.

i actually like the albums they released in the 90's, and ironically enough...the only i disliked was washing machine. anyways, there are too many things i like about youth and i can't pick a best thing about the band. but like someone already mentioned it is a great thing they still exist.
