I had the same experience sort of---It wasn't that I disliked them at first, I was just not impressed....

Then one day I was in a store and it was playing and suddenly I liked it, and was surprised to find out who it was.

I picked up a copy of the newest for 50% off. I really like it.

I think they have some interesting moments....I was hoping they'd be better.

i saw the video for "Panda" on Subterranean a few months ago and really liked it so my brother bought the cd for me for xmas. i was somewhat disappointed because the rest of the album is nothing like that song, but it's not bad.

i saw them support the Shins, it was refreshing from the usual crap you hear from support bands, one minute theyre playing a normal rock song the next theyve got the flutes out and dispensed with vocals. In a good way.

IMO, every song on the recent album equals Panda in greatness.
