Not me, but I did hear the shuttle blow up a few years ago and saw the trailing smoke streak as it plummeted down just south of Dallas. My hair stood up on end.

off topic, but a new club in my town have installed lights projecting trippy displays up into the night sky, one of my mates thought it was aliens at first.
I want to see that space station, I'm gonna get a telescope one of these days. |

when I lived in Austin I gto to see the shuttle come in for a landing. it was around 10:05PM and I went outside. th shuttle was flying around 10 thousand miles an hour as it crossed Texas in under a minute. I could see it in the sky, and the massive trail it left, and it was magnificent, and then I wnet insiede, turned on the TV and the shuttle was reaching floorida and landing, less than a minute after I saw it! that fucker was HAULING ASS!!!
