fuck the LOC. Princeton's Firestone Library is older, until WWII had shitloads more money, and is run without interference of the govt. when you walk across the courtyard you are walking across the roof of a vast underground labyrintyh filled with books dating back to 1758 when the library opened and before. these skylights are at courtyard level on the other side of the building. we used to lay on them during the summer. from what i understand, the deepest reaches of the library go deeper than the fusion reasearch facility they built during the cold war. i bet there are pieces of the true cross in a shoe box somewhere down there.

no stories... other than lounging on the skylights while i was in high school in between skating in palmer square. no wiki, i grew up in princeton. unfortunately though i've never been past the lobby, security there's tighter than at the research wing of the Morgan in NY. strangely enough, though i have seen the fusion reactor... when i was a cub scout no less... goes to show you how important they think that branch of research is compared to just the main campus library....

of course i mean to boast--i had sex right under the government's nose. perhaps she and i were immortalized in some security camera, but i don't think so--i checked the best i could. LOC = heaven. also: yale's sterling memorial library HOTTTT. ok. nothing happened there. we were on the verge of breaking up & ma verge saw no action. |

[btw- LOC puts obama's book over in E with the autobiography of malcolm X, instead of KF along with Jon Edward's book. how ya like the LOC now?]
