I'm really into this one right now. Got a box of six the other day. Nothing beats a good South African Cabernet Sauvignon or Pinotage with some cheese. |

I welcome any comments/suggestions for cheese pairings, of course.
I'd love to remember which wine it was (a red). It got me over my fear of blue cheese. I'm quite the fan now, actually (under certain circumstances). |

I drink more white coming into summer. I used to drink a piss load of red but these days it kills me the next day where as white doesn't.
I'd love for someone to buy me expensive wine, but I find the cheap wine that's nice.

I drank a bottle and abit last night of white, followed by too much straight scotch.
I had taken painkillers before and I think that perhaps that contributed to me spewing my hole up this morning a few times at work. I haven't had a chuck norris since highschool.

Wine doesn't make me feel good, although I am starting to develop a taste for it.

Develop a taste? Like you're forcing yourself to drink it and enjoy it?

Red wine from the Dijon area. Côtes de Beaune, Nuits-Saint-Georges.
I remember a bottle of Chateau de la Barre or something similar, brought by our boss. It was excellent. I wish I could find one, but I don't go to the appropriate places as I suspect it to be quite expensive. I'd crave to get that wine again, to get along with that spicy jambalaya friends and I take hours preparing... |
