I appologise in advance for this shameless plug but I just uploaded a couple of things on my bands profile and thought some of you here might be interested in hearing it. Pretty much only because the first one sounds really Sonic Youth influenced - perhaps a little too much but you can tell me that. So if you want to hear me ripping off Sonic Youth the link is www.myspace.com/davesulk and the song is In Ostinato.

We're not as active as I'd like, we're still looking for a drummer and breaking a new bassist in and she hasnt really had much experiance. You don't happen to know any drummers do you? But you might catch me playing some depressing psudo-folk shit around some of cardiff's open mics or something, though not for a few weeks and the only one that I know is still going is the buffalo one. Is that a bad thing? Thanks everyone for taking the time out to listen. |

Sorry don't know any good drummers, and you ain't taking mine Im currently about to break a bassist in too, she hasnt played much, but she one of our friends and i find its always better to play with your friends. My position is Guitarist/Songwriter. I'm currently singing, but im shit...just need a singer to sing the 100+ songs I have written. Know any good singers?

Don't look here, I am a horrible singer... I only say this because I tried yesterday and it was depressing to hear it, even for a person who didn't really think they could sing in the first place
EDIT: BTW, love the songs, 'specially "Cereal."

You and I are in a very simular place it seems - though I'd trade a drummer for a singer any day. I'd imagine it isn't that hard to find a singer if you're not being specific about the type. thanks again everyone - I wasnt expecting anyone to listen let alone respond to the thread. |

Man, your songs are awesome, very good !!!
Mayfly is my favorite. I'm a drummer, I enjoy playing that kind of music and I'd like to play with you but I can't quit Paris, sorry. Your singing is not so bad, man. I hope you'll show us your new songs soon. |
