Okay i've been listening to these guys non-stop. Some say they are over-melodic hipster shite, but dont listen to them. The songcraft going on in this band is mindblowing. For me, The best band to ever come out of Cardiff. Listen to: 'Sweet Dreams Sweet Cheeks' 'It Started with a Mixx' 'You Me Dancing' Los Campesinos are on a new compilation by Twisted by Design called 'This Town Aint Big Enough For The 22 of Us' featuring 22 bands from Cardiff's Indie Underground scene. Its well worth a listen, especially for the welsh boardies.

Steady on. Best band to come out of Cardiff? Are you forgetting Young Marble Giants?.
Los Camps are alright but they are bit indie-twee for my liking. They supported Broken Social Scene and they were way better than them though. Although BSS were probably the most boring band I have ever seen in my life. |

Okay Young Marble Giants are a serious contender and I usually dont like this 'tweecore' stuff (or whatever idiotic name they find for it), theres just something about the way they write songs thats incredably attractive, I think its because everytime I listen to them Pavement come to mind.
