So i was checking myspace and this was someones bullitin

'I heard on the Triple J news today that "Kalgoorlie women" consume 3 times more then other Aussie women.

Thats a fargen top effort to all you kalgoorlie piss wreck wenches!

and "Kalgoorlie Males" comsume twice more then other Aussie males.

i've been to your town once... and it doesn't surprise me at all that the locals are drinking a lot there. but there are also many similarly isolated mining towns in australia, so i wonder why the average would be higher in kalgoorlie.

anyway, i remember feeling glad to be in a "real" town after being on the nullarbor plain for days... the town itself didn't leave much of an impression on me, but i remember the main street and there being many brothels, the huge mining superpit and the ultra large trucks.

i'm not australian, but i spent about 10 months and something down under a few years ago. i had one of those working holiday visas and got pretty much all around, visting every state and territory along the way.

i've probably only been in kalgoorlie (and coolgardie) for a day or two, but i can't remember exactly. it was a stop on our way from melbourne to perth.

edit: that was august 2000.
