Fucking A!
Many thanks to Misha for sending me this. He wrote that this is an "extremely rare 1964 bootleg/recording of The Dream Syndicate, which I presume to go by the name of "2 IV 64 Day Of The Holy Mountain". It features the rare sounds of La Monte's Sopranino, which I heard on your blog only in the song B Flat Dorian Blues 19 X 63, 5th Day Of The Hammer." I uploaded it to SendSpace because it was too big for Rapidshare. Day of the Holy Mountain posted by knowby |

Rebump!
Hello all, I googled for this record, and actually all links (including this page's) direct to me uploading the record for Knowby, except one! There is only one source on the entire internet that states that this record exists, and it's in an article about Tony Conrad which you can find here: http://www.geocities.com/hstencil I just mailed the guy who wrote it to ask where he knows it of, because when I found the record (via a filesharing program) it had a document attached that is the same article. I think I might have downloaded it from this man directly. Anyways, it's one of my favourite records of all time, and its mysteries keep me interested even more. Does anyone happen to have additional info? Regards, Misha |
