What a great idea for a thread.
MGMT - Kids. Sebadoh - Ocean Echo and the Bunnymen - Killing Moon Shania Twain - You're still the one Dead Kennedys - Take this job and shove it... The Rolling Stones - Paint it Black [although I'm warming to a handful of their songs now] Led Zep - Black Dog Stevie Wonder - Ma Cherie Amour [Yes, I know I should like Innervisions, I just don't, ok?] Jamiroquai - Virtual Insanity Raised Fist - Words and Phrases [though they are awesome live, their records usually bore me]

There are 2 songs by Sebadoh and U2 that I've heard years ago which I'd like to hear again. The one by Sebadoh I'm fairly sure was on some EP I haven't been able to track down online. The one by U2 is from another EP my brother has (or used to have), so I should ask him. It was played on the radio.

Trapt- Headstrong
30 Seconds to Mars - Welcome to the Universe (actually the whole first album isn't half bad-yeah, the lyrics suck, but there are some good riffs/arrangements, and Jared Leto actually sings like he's got balls for the most part) the newest song by Flyleaf (can't think of its name) White Town- Your Woman (a textbook example of a one hit wonder's one hit being their only good song) Orgy- Stitches Finger Eleven- Paralyzer Soft Cell- Tainted Love Sum 41- Still Waiting Dave Matthews Band- Don't Drink the Water the Temptations- Papa Was a Rolling Stone (OK, I get it's blasphemous to admit you don't like the Temptations in some circles, but I just can't get into them all that much)

You'd pick one of the worst Girls Aloud songs for this list? Crikey.
Edit: not GK, obviously.

Ok, there are actually TWO songs by Pavement I like ("Grounded" and "Gold Soundz"), but I think it'll qualify

Well, yeah, since I don't like Spiderland and they released only two LP's, I guess it's not a band that I like very much... But, seriously, "Washer", it's a very good song actually, I could have put "the ending to Good Morning Captain" too. |

90s indie special: Stereophonics - Local boy in the photograph 60ft dolls - Happy Shopper Bennet - Mum's gone to Iceland Symposium - Drink the Sunshine Ocean Colour Scene - The Riverboat Song (I completely missed how brilliant the drums are on this at the time) Stone Roses - I am the Resurrection Deus - Roses Imperial Teen - You're a one Ultrasound - Floodlit world 3 colours red - Nuclear Holiday Honorary mention to Tiger's Shining in the Wood. I still quite like them in spite of evidence that they were probably a bit cack. Actually, most of these are a bit cack really, aren't they? I was at a party on Friday with a load of kids who were 20-odd. They were all going on about how great the 90s were for music. I should really have given them a slap. Edit: I was also trying to find a jangly indie number but I couldn't remember the name of the band - the chorus went 'she longs to be seen/ she's the summer holiday queen/ sitting in a cheap bikini/ swimming in the dirty sea' - anyone remember that one? Edit 2: It was Posh, but I can't remember what the song was called. Boo.

Found it. Thanks, Google!
Edit: FUCK ME that's aged badly. I'm never being a teenager with a record player again.

No crime, just bizarre. But to each their own. You'll come around! I've been obsessed with spiderland for ... in a few years, it'll be half my life... just... whoa.
