Oh, if they keep mining your data and selling it off, they'll do just fine.
Good luck. I'm sticking with my Lockheed-Martin, Monsanto and Halliburton stock. Coz it's all about the bottom line, ain't it? |

ahem: New MySpace owners Tim and Chris Vanderhook run the ninth-largest U.S. online ad network, reaching 76% of Internet users in June (2011) these dudes remembered, and they swooped it up, and clearly they aren't exactly stupid about the internet.

Let me add to this fascist thread
Despite protections afforded under the U.S. Constitution, the federal DEA is trying to initiate a blanket sweep of all license plates traveling along Interstate 15 in Utah, with the intent to store the information in a centralized database. Furthermore, as noted by the ACLU which attended a recent hearing about the rollout, this federal agency is employing a scanning technology called ALPR to collect data from "unspecified other sources and sharing it with over ten thousand law enforcement agencies around the nation." The deployment of any personal data collection technology by a federal agency carries with it additional responsibilities under the Privacy Act of 1974, but is the DEA adhering to those guidelines? |

we're still waiting. ------ anyway looks like the share price fell to $34 in spite of morgan stanley trying to prop up the price. the thing is, those who already bought might eventually see returns, who knows really, but if i'm going to trust buffett/munger's advice, and look at management, do i really want to put my money on zuckerberg? hellz the fakk noe. |

How often do you click on facebook ads?
Now ask your friends. Never? Now fear for the sustainablilty of a fake business model revolving around 'paid for likes' and ads that few care actually spend money on. Once megacorps realize that the smoke they smell has been blown up their ass, they'll run for the hills. Get out before it's too late!! |

yah. down about 3K since I got it, but my other ones are doing well enough that it's not a problem. The problem with most of the market experts quoted is that they've been so fucking wrong that ms ild and I just wing it ourselves (and are doing pretty well, thanks for asking!
