If you haven't tried it and you like tea you maybe ought to.
It's said that loose leaf tea tastes better/fresher/snootier, I can't really tell as I usually brew it too strong (so I feel like I get my money's worth) but it is way fun to make. I use either chopsticks or a strainer. So fun. I go for gunpowder. Anywhere good to order from? |

Tea.
I love tea. Not so much coffee. I don't know about the leaf stuff, though. I have a couple of friends who swear that you have much better options in tea purchases when you buy the loose stuff, but I like bags. You can get some good shit in bags as well.

Without green tea I'm certain I would look my age, which would be a big problem since I'm unable to act it. I go for sencha myself. Stumptown Coffee here in Portland sells it and I get it on my way to the radio station each Saturday. Usually before I get on the air, I've drained the large cup and go up to the basement (we're in the sub-basement, making us the most underground station on the planet!) and microwave up some water to pour over the still strong bag (it's loose leaf, they just put the leaves in a bag when you order it.)
I do miss coffee when it comes to taste, but my stomach doesn't miss it at all. |
