howdy,don't know if this has been covered here before..but my fave store called me yesterday to say they had trees outside the academy for me (gonna pick it up in a few hours when they open) anyhow..i asked if they had vinyl for it,they said they hadn't been offered it.so i went to the ecstatic peace site and saw it was only available on cd.so i love vinyl and want this album on vinyl...does anyone know if it's gonna be available on vinyl
any info would be appreciated

Trees Outside not being released on vinyl (eventually) would shock me more than the Starbucks/DDN stuff combined.

hmm.. most of the more 'accessible' recent Ecstatic Peace releases have been CD only eg. Tall Firs, MV + EE, Be Yr Own Pet, Monotract.
And the vinyl they're putting out these days seems to be vinyl only releases ala Mouthus, Leslie Keffer, X.O.4, Lambsbread, Emil Beaulieau et al.. |

Vinyl YES!!!!!! we will have vinyl for Trees Outside of The Academy! Our UK distro partners Cargo are cooking up an amazing PICTURE DISK with some new art and an additional track. It will be available on our website and as an import from Cargo. We're rushing production to have it ready for the East Coast tour dates. |
