well thats my opinion, i think theyve tried to become too overtly populist. The reason they became popular in the first place was because their songs were more personal than on Neon Bible. Im talking in general, and live (just from Glastonbury) it hasnt changed my mind.

Nah it was on BBC2 from about 8, then continuous on BBC4 and BBC3. Arctic Monkeys did look like good fun yeah, they showed some of the Hold Steady and reminded me of exactly why i was sorely dissappointed i bought one of their albums. |

Friday night highlight: Good Shoes
Lowlight: No coverage of The Cribs set at all... although a few mini interviews with a couple of the members. Today/night's coverage starts in about an hour on BBC2 Who knows what it will bring?

So far (for the Saturday) Pigeon Detectives were amazing... and Editors are suprisingly good on here as well...
Low-lights? Probably Paolo Nutini or Calvin Harris...

I actually quite enjoyed Paulo Nutini. Arcade Fire were OK too. Pigeon Detectives reeked. Editors were good. I wish John Fogarty would just stop. Not keen on The Killers. Enjoyed Amy Winehouse more than I thought I would. Are the Stooges on yet?
