This website estimates that SonicYouth.com generates $526 a month. Hmm.. Even while bands make shit on their records, considering they have 17 studio albums as well as several side project releases and the 9 SYRs let alone three decades worth of merchandise and tours, surely they have at least a modest amount of revenues coming in, not quite that U2 money but surely some duckets all the same. Barry Obama is saying pay up yo, show us the monies.

I was thinking that maybe there weren't a bunch of kick ass Sonic Youth side projects going on because they don't necessarily need the money from the discography and thirty years of touring, however, I checked the Calendar section and realized I was mistaken, needing the money or not Kim, Lee, and Thurston are all on small tours.. Where is Steve's side project?

Steve's got plenty going on if you pay attention... touring w/ Lee Ranaldo, and the playing in the Disappears.
