I was listening to the recent Neil Young Live at Massey Hall cd and realized that a lot of the songs he plays are in tunings that are different than standard tuning. I was wondering if anyone knew any of the tunings he uses especially for the song Don't Let It Bring You Down.

it sounds like he just drops D before he plays but the song sounds like its not in standard...I don't know. I'd like to know some Nick Drake tunings as well.

I don't think Neil ever used DADGAD, however he enjoys using DADGBD (double dropped D), for instance in Cinammon girl.
