yeah... my memory was that it was for some kind of EVOL box-set reissue ... right?
I'm still dying to hear it. His cover of "Green Light" was amazing.

there certainly SHOULD BE an EVOL box set though. I think we can all agree on that.

EVOL is my favorite album (period. Not just SY) of all time. So yeah. A deluxe reissue of that record would pretty much blow my mind. Especially if it was a huge box set celebration.

How early? Mighty Good Leader early or Odelay early? They are like diametrically opposed Becks

One Foot In The Grave is far and away my fav Beck album. But Im a huge Beck fan since 94. I love all the shit he was putting out pre-Odelay more than anything though. That was such an exciting time to be into him -- Golden FEelings, Western Harvest, Mellow Gold, One Foot, Stereopathetic... it was all so fucking different and awesome from one record to the next.

did you get the reissue of One Foot from like 2009? It's legit man, basically includes an albums' worth of unreleased songs from the same session.

the reissue is totally worth it... I just wish it had been released as standalone release (the outtakes I mean) as there was talk about such an album back around like 2000. I'm not sure why it never happened but... well I guess in these days people are more likely to buy REISSUES than new releases of old songs.

Is Beck Thurston's side gimmick?

Atmospheric Conditions is an incredible song....
Don't forget about Asshole. Beck was on CBC this week talking about his new songbook thingy. Looks like he has abandoned songwriting.
