i'm only getting into these and i got this CD on holidays (impulse buy...near the counter) and i love it, they are a great band.

I loved Desperate Youth Bloodthirsty babes
I loved the EP NEW HEALTH ROCK, and YOUNG LIARS EP as well TV on The Radio used to be two dudes, ad slowly they built up a full band. it is great stuff.

i like it a lot, it's definitely a departure and i do miss the overtly drum machine and vocal harmonizing used on their past shit; but it would be silly to bitch about it, i like it's different and they have matured into accomplished songwriters.

well thanks to the advice of record people i'm listening to 4 mp3s of this record i just downloaded
weird, i got 2 versions of wolf like me, one is 5:08 the other 5:15 oh its live. god dam the 5:08 i hate the vocals, the 5;15 sounds like fucking frank zappa-- awesome. i think there is some confusion as to the identity of these tracks. now "i was a lover"-- oh hm sounds like they borrowed a page from (strangely) bjork (those synth noises in the background). thou the curtain of noise in front of it rocks. not sure about the vocals. i often with dudes were mute so women would sing everything everywhere. and now, on to yo la tengo... |

ha ha! I cannot listen to women singers too much! I rock sleater kinney and kim gordon but all in all I prefer hearing dudes sing. odd huh?
