Is probably my favourite late night tv programming. I've not seen the two most recent BB2 specials, but have seen everything else. His interviewing style is so addictive. It's a little people like us(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/People_Like_Us).. but with sympathy.

Its alright, but the format has got dull. He just goes and finds weird/gullible americans and goes all "concerned but silent". The best one he did recently was the one about the fenced in hunting reserves in South Africa

i love him - but i think i prefered it when it was silly-er... the most recent ones have had too serious a tone. though still stuf like the prison one was great. But I did prefer when there was a bit more whimsy. No cooker, no brain damage

i like him, he has a way of asking stuff anyone else would get beaten up for. i also like how some of the people he interviews have this 'what the hell are you asking now?' look on their faces.

They dont understand why he is doing the programme, but that appeal loses its way after a while. Im all in favour of making KKK members and Black nationalists and Christian fundamentalists look stupid but i think his programmes havent moved on from that. Actually, ive just remembered, his series where he stayed with celebrities is probably the best thing he ever did but im not sure it would make much sense unless you are British or have lived here for 10+ years. Jimmy Saville, Max Clifford, The Hamiltons, Chris Eubank, Ann Widdecombe, really good stuff

I preferred his shows about the 'weirder' side of America, i.e., the wrestling one, the one where he meets loads of Dirty South rappers. I don't think it works when he acts the important journalist, interviewing peadophiles and the like - also in those scenarios his feigned-naivety can seem a little too calculating rather than quietly playful.

hmm. To me it doesnt come off as naivety, fake or otherweise.. It just feels like fascination. I guess, with the people he chooses to interview, is there really any need to be calculated? They all train wreck themselves...

are there any funnier videos people could recommend to me, or is that as far as his humor goes? |

Have a look for the ones about Professional Wrestling, Porn or Plastic Surgery. 3 subjects that would improve any documentary i reckon

Used to watch his show when it aired on Bravo and found them really good, but they only aired a handful and then stopped. Not sure where they air his documenteries now, maybe Sundance Channel? Its been awhile.
