Bought an original 1991 gig poster the other week, it appears to be Raymond Pettibon, as in it's a play on the same style from the Goo album cover, I just can't find any information about the design.
The gig in question was Bremen - Hemelingen / Germany 27. August 1991 at the ‘Aladin’ with Nirvana supporting. Thanks Gareth |

Hi Gareth, it is indeed a Pettibon image. His additional art was used throughout the "Disappearer" single and the Goo deluxe reissue. The image above was also used on the cover of the Goo VHS.

This poster features prominently in the scene before "Brother James" in 1991: The Year Punk Broke, where Thurston is describing the singer, singing live, etc...
