Gotta be Inspector Derrick, from Munich, Germany.
Uber-boring, ultra-kitsch, awesomely lame and involuntarily hilarious... ... |

That one show that didn't feature any enforcers of the law. Loved it!

Frank Pembleton, from Homicide; Life on the Street
Close behind would be John Munch and Megan Russert, from the same.

I like private detectives far more than foghorn-mouthed police stereotypes.
Fucking Ponch from CHiPs, I don't know. |

Telly Savalas as Kojak not only was he the toughest guy on the planet, he was the smartest, he was a lady killer and he was never wrong. I believe that Telly really believed he was Kojak and he had all them talents. ;^)

I'd say that I don't watch shows about cops and lawyers, but the wife has them on all weekend.
beyond the fact that I don't like fascists much, I'm annoyed that ever since Hills Street Blues, they've all had themesongs that sound the same. I call the tune "Sax in the City". |

Bunk! No, wait, McNulty can do that hilarious Irish accent. So, McNulty. But then again, Bunk's much more cool. Shit, nevermind. |
