Yeah. I know that nearly everyne I work with will ring-up work at-least once a month, usually on a Monday, and say they have the flu or need to attend a dead relatives funeral, etc, when they are just hungover from Sunday night. This one guy has killed off his entire family in the two months that hes been here. This annoys me
Even when I have a hangover I goto work - I prefer to do something active rather than vegetate indoors, it clears it up. But the way I see it: this means I'm missing out on extra (unofficial) holiday days that everyone else is taking! So I think I'm entitled to, say, ten extra (unofficial) holiday days (fake illness/fake funeral days) a year. i.e., I'm planning on going to Amsterdam during a 'bout of flu' in January. The good thing about working for a large company, that employs around 200, is that its impossible to feel guilty about this kind of thing or take it seriously at all. My granddad was right we'd all be fucked if there was ever another world war. |

I only feel bad if I'm putting my coworkers in a difficult position, but I think it's almost expected from everyone, at least once in a while.

Yeah, I was asked to work tomorrow because the boss said I'm his "star employee". Which is funny and ridiculous but actually might be almost true...
Oh well. Flattery is nice but I don't want to go in. |

This is the truth in that you cant let your shit spill over onto your crew, yet never not do it so much that you dont wear the communinal shit on your face the same as them. Eh, yeah. Those are days off, though. When I'm late, and I know I'm going to be late no matter how fast that train grinds, I stretch my arms and give a big happy yawn and stop for a slice of the best pizza in the city and really enjoy those seconds. I dont know. |

I remember I skipped the day before my two week notice was up just because I heard a huge shipment was coming in. Said I had to pack to come back to San Francisco. Felt a bit guilty but I wasn't paid for it.

I walked out because my manager was verbally harassing me.
I have bad luck with people in general. |

not really. Im generally nice to my co workings and a lot of the time used to pick up shifts when people couldnt work them. Having said that, there were always those people who would ask you to cover shifts, but if you ever needed the same from them, they woudlnt do it. Those people eventually I wouldnt cover shifts for unless I needed the money that week. However, my last job middle management were pretty poor, and I got sent home a lot despite being rostered on. That was kind of annoying. I'd felt bad about quitting so early into the job, until the last week when they cut a bunch of my shifts even after I'd asked if they wanted me to work them or just not come in (after I'd handed in my letter) Fuck that. Lots of people got free extra food and drink from me that day.
