I'd say Femmes, but then I don't like Yo La Tengo. I saw them live and nearly fell asleep.

I like both, but I just saw the Violent Femmes a few weeks ago and believe me, you won't be dissapointed.

I have seen them both, but if you have never seen the femmes, they are worth it. i am biased b/c they are my hometown band.

i had this with Morrissey and Radiohead recently, i picked radiohead, havent got to the gig yet but i'm sure t'will be excellent...

sorry neither of these bands are Yo L T or V Femmes.
i'd pick Femmes.
