Tall Firs at Union Pool this Friday Jan 18

Doods-

Knitting Factory was pretty much apeshit. Teddy Boys vs. Mods in the slam pit. Ryan pulled a Lux Interior and climbed the PA during Surfin' Bird. LSD casualties were dropping from the balconies and the confetti cannons were set to Annihiliate. Can it get this crazy again this Friday? That's really up to you. All we can do is put together another sickly killer bill and hope you all freak.

my own opinion is Ryan is a very good drummer and wasted talent in this band. That said, Union Pool is probably my favorite place to see a gig in NYC right now (and y'all know I hate everything seemingly), and in winter they have that bonfire going out in back! The Phantom Ear series returns there in Feb!

oh shit maybe ill go to this. ill be in the city next 2 days and looking for stuff to see. got invited to see johnny greenwoods orchestral debut, but might go see burnt sugar instead ...

i have never seen them, but i heard their first disc about 5 years ago. it was real out there and heavy, kind of like electric masada but more worldly than israel-centric that masada is ...
