666, a good date for shopping. Theres a ton of music coming out this day. So far What ive got to pick up:

sonic youth - rather ripped
rhys chatham - die donnergotter
rhys chatham - an angle moves to fast to see
peter brotzmann - alarm
table of the elements sampler

+ a bunch of stuff thats been coming out thus far through the year. Man I hve never wanted money more than now!

its been proven with recently found writings that the number of the devil wasnt 666 it was 656 or something similar (i cant recall). The world ignores it because hollywood, the music world, and religion has instilled 666 so much in its industry...

Yeah it's not a huge deal, but I thought it would have been funny if it came out on 666. I'm pretty sure I read that Thurston said about the 666 release date something like, "A lot of other bands didn't want it, but we demanded it." Oh well.

The whole June 6 2006 thing is so lame. The fact that some people take those numbers so seriously is funny to me. Now if it were me putting something out, I'd put it out June 9, 2069. 6/9/69. Alright, that's my immature post for the day.
