I play bass. We recorded a few tracks at practice yesterday with a condenser mic into Mike's computer.

I like the bass playing, it has a nice fluidity to it. I don't know how much I care fo the singing though. But not bad for a new band practice at all. I like white lumina the best

Thanks. I'm a guitarist first and a bass player 2nd so that means a lot to me. Our guitarist and singer writes all the stuff and he really likes Mark Mulcahy, Elliot Smith, and that kind of stuff, and I think that is the general direction he is coming from. I personally really like his singing, it is a very different from all the other local bands singing and much more organic and earthy sounding if that makes sense.

Yeah, he says they are "crappy recordings" but I actually quite like them. We'll be able to get better mixes and stuff once we start multi-tracking, which will be pretty soon.
