This is tough to watch. This woman did nothing to provoke this attack by the 200 "pet" chimp. And I feel for Travis the chimp, who was killed at the scene. This was a pet who drank champagne and was given Xanax by his owners. What are yr thoughts about keeping exotic animals as pets? I know pit bulls and such can attack for no reason, but I'm referring to unusual animals that ppl keep for pets. I know some ppl think it's cool. What are your thoughts on this? |

We had an alligator as a pet for like 11 years. Pretty crazy.

I dislike the idea.
I also think that if you keep anything remotely 'dangerous' as a pet, and it injures you/mames you, then too fucking bad.

^^ but.. I'd like a small python as a pet, as long as it had a decent enclosure away from my cat. And I'd have crows, if they would stay.. They are too smart though, and live in massive groups. It would be cruel to keep one confined.

Exotic pets are a no-go in my book.
I say, let them be. If you really feel the urge to have a pet, get yourself a budgie or something.
