Whats Up With Elephant 6?

Is the collective still together or whats up with it? Apples in Stereo is still around I know, but is Olivia Tremor still active? Is the collective now done/defunct or is it just currently an idle period?

Anyone know anything?

I think it's pretty much overwith. Olivia Tremor Control is pretty much done, although they did play a reunion show in 2005.

elephant6.com says they're looking for old flyers/videos/etc, so something is in the works, just not stuff from an individual band.

apples in stereo is putting out a new album soon. i think circulatory system is doing something soon too.

Circulatory System has been recording their second album since about 1873. Last I heard it should be out in early 2007 but I wouldn't hold your breath.

elf power just released their new album, back to the web, which i highly recommend.

i think the collective as a collective is over, but they pretty much still talk to each other and stuff (witness jeff mangum jamming with otc on their reunion show). my best bet is that it's dormant.
