Rather, DID we suck? Everything on www.myspace.com/theprivileges is at least five years old, so any critisism can be easily digested. If it sucks, why? Does sound quality matter, or even with crystal clear sonics, it still blows. Again, we don't sound much like this nowadays, and in fact we aren't even called the Privileges anymore, so you can rip away if you want.

No. Not really. I like your voice and the song Quiet down was stoned, as in wasted. Hope your band IS better now?

i listened to lazarus eyes and quiet down.
the first one is pretty awful, quiet down is better. the reason its not good is because it sounds like a million other things that have been done a long time ago much much better. and they wernet all that interesting when they were new. |

Someone spiked my poison was cool. I didn't like how the others were mixed.

I liked Someone Spiked My Poison. Bored sounded like a Providence rip-off.

So cool for everyone to respond. Thanx a lot. I'm shocked no one was as brutal as I expected.
I totally agree with everything, except the accusation of ripping off Providence. We use a zylophone and guitar, not piano, and we sample a speech from the film Naked, whereas Providence uses a recording of one of their freinds remembering where a bag o' dope was stashed. Totally different! |
