Anything but the one my parents raised me on. Red meat 5 times a week, McDonald's once or more a week, restaurant once a week. No wonder I turned into a vegetarian.

The barbecue from Argentina/Brazil, the sauces from India, the fish from Japan, the pastries from France/Germany, the sandwiches from Turkey, and the rice from Thailand.

I was fortunate to be raised by parents who loved cooking and surveying different national cuisines. I just wish I was a bit more conscious of the different dishes we had.

Traditional Italian.
Most of the food of my youth was grilled to death and then slathered in mayo and ranch dressing, all 3 of which I refuse to it hence my label as "a picky eater that has no respect for home cookin'"

i lived with my very english grandmother.. oh boy.
the canyons and i have a similar upbringing only mine was half fast food, half candy. my little brother went through a phase where he would ONLY eat burger king and it was cheaper for all of us to just eat there than get him food, drive elsewhere, etc etc. and i liked candy. i'd pick the mediterranean kinda diet with lots of nuts, fish, oils, pasta.

the stupid human diet. Imagine how much smarter the world would be and how much less populated it was if we all ate the stupid humans.

Indian food. Roll call: Poppadums, mushroom bhaji, chicken madras, pilau rice, peshwari naan, bombay aloo, with some saag panner too.

I'm o.k. with what I was raised on, because my health is o.k. now and I can make decisions pretty well today. I don't know how I survived the hot dogs at 6, twinkies and other hostess products at 9, and gallons of coca-cola from 12 to 18, but somehow I did, and I don't find any of that shit even slightly appealing today.
