I think that there are some on this board:
I wrote a book for Continuum's 33 1/3 series of little books about great albums, on Neutral Milk Hotel's "In the Aeroplane Over The Sea" and the Elephant 6 collaborative community that helped birth it. I'll be in London on November 7, and hope to find a free venue where I could read from and sign the book. Unfortunately, Continuum's UK publicist has just left her post, so I'm left with very little time to find a venue, and via email at that. I have already contacted Rough Trade, Fopp, Crockatt & Powell, Foyle's, 56a, Pogo Cafe, All Ages Records, Sister Ray, Haggle, Phonica, Sound 323, Sounds of the Universe, Beanos and Disque. Any sort of space where folks can gather would do, gallery, book or record shop, cafe, church, pub, etc. Any suggestions much appreciated... and if you manage to book a reading, I'll send you a bunch of copies of my zine, Scram, and stand you a pint if you attend. Here are some reviews of the book: http://www.scrammagazine.com/nmhreviews Thanks in advance for any ideas. Kim Cooper Editrix Scram, a journal of unpopular cultur |

Well put him in touch with your mates at the Foundry then! There could be a free drink in it for you.

I woiuld have thought he'd have been tipped off already about that as he posted it on the resonancefm forum. There is also the problem that anything like that has to be arranged well in advance.

Oh i see.Well, unless Jonathan is feeling magnanimous in spirit,i doubt he would get to do his reading in the foundry unless it is outside of poerformance hours.
