I haven't been here in a month of days...
If you were uploading SY albums to your MP3 player (memory limits how many you can load), which albums would you choose? |

Whatever your mood, if you are feeling nihilistic go with early SY. If you want some upbeat go with Dirty, Goo, Rather Ripped. If you are feeling experimental, go with Washing Machine, A Thousand Leaves, NYF&G

I've already uploaded Goo and Daydream Nation. Maybe Washing Machine for a third album? Or Screaming Fields of Sonic Youth?
Great concert by Patty Larkin, at The Ark, Ann Arbor MI, a couple of days ago. Her set featured lots of songs from her new album, "Watch the Sky." |
