Ashtray Navigations, The Fall, Girls Aloud, Sugababes and a few unsigned chaps (notably Mr Diesel)... we're not brilliant, but there are still a fair few brilliant bands out there, as there are any where, if you bother to look.

Its a smaller place for anything to thive - its like if a fad comes in - like pop idol for example - it tends to influence on the whole nation.
