Anyone heard of this guy? Me neither. But I like his music.

Some sound clips here: http://www.jasonjhall.com/huh/armand/

And if that's pleasing here's an entire album for download (and some information about the man): http://postpunkjunk.com/ (scroll down a little)

Digging this up instead of starting a new thread. Does anyone know if any of Armand Scaubroeck Steals records have been reissued? He seems to have just disappeared off the map. I used to have 'Ratfucker' but sold it for baked beans money. Anyone else a fan? Fans of Lou Reed at his smelliest and Lester Bangs at his most annoying may well be interested.

Some more details here: http://www.headheritage.co.uk/unsung...nd_schaubroeck

i have not heard of any reissues. i have had _Ratfucker_ for a long time, and recently scored that 3LP _Live at the Holiday Inn_ via ebay. funny, the copy i won used to be owned by the brother of a friend of mine; had his name written in black marker on the cover.

It's weird isn't it; given the stuff that is reissued that nobody's picked him up. My memory of Ratfucker was that it wasn't anything particularly amazing, more one of those curiosities similar to what the likes of Alex Chilton and Kim Fowley occasionally let slip out around that time.

it's pretty good...gotta somewhat nasty vibe which is stronger than anything Fowley was doing (can't speak of Chilton's work in this era).
