I'm shocked there is no thread for them around here. I mean, I know they were more on the "unknown" side, but I thought they'd be mentioned a couple times at least.
They're pretty much the bridge between Polvo and the Swirlies, with a touch of SY and Pavement on top. They kick ass. Frankfurt: Telephonics is probably my favorite from them. ~Jeremy~

I checked them out on youtube as well. I like some of the instrumentation, I can see where you draw the Polvo comparison.
The drums and the vocals seem kind of lacking IMO, and I don't really like the overall tone of the music, but to each their own. |

The one on youtube is from their new record, which is a lot mellower and calmer. Older stuff was a lot noisier and loose, but as said, to each their own.
