Rudolf Eber appreciation

For people into his bands like Runzelstirn and Gurgelstock or Schimpfluch Gruppe. His music really is indeed crazy, i.e., sounds like it was made by someone mentally instable. Its not Noise, but its noisy and chaotic and actually sounds like something that all Noise bands try to acheive but can't. His shows as Runzelstirn and Gurgelstock often feature him masked with all sorts of wires running through arm bands and his mask as he just presses various noise switches on his wrists. SOmetimes Sudden Infant provides vocals too, live that is, which is pretty neat. His band, Schimpfluch Gruppe is awesome too, absurdist and dada in its truest sense (reacting against everything) are two words that could actually fittingly describe it. He also plays under the name Wash Your Brains. Anyways, he describes his music as "psychoaccoustic trainings", and that's sorta perfect.

I just heard a Rudolf Eb.er tape about a month ago that was just fucking ridiculous, it sounded like him shaving and farting a bunch.

oh and dave phillips is in gruppe, too, which is prolly worth mentioning. he does totally rad solo noise and field recording stuff as well as being in the totally seminal grindcore band fear of god. oh and he also plays with wierdo band ohne with none other than tom smith of TLASILA. so, yeah hes got some credentials too.
