As promised, the final Mesh Gear Fox release for 2008 is here.
MESH GEAR FOX - Ambient 2: New Year's Morning The second in my ambient series, New Year's Morning is as the title implies, music for recovery. The songs are named after people (in order) who replied to a message on my myspace asking for people who would like to have songs named after them. Some chose subtitles, too. Hence: ARTIST - Mesh Gear Fox ALBUM - New Year's Morning YEAR - 2008 GENRE - Ambient/Electronic 1. Mena 2. Bridget 3. Daniel (Dr. Faust) 4. Emma 5. Lilly 6. Kynan 7. Sofia (Dramamine 2) 8. Jar(r)od 9. Victor (Dr. Opkick) 10. Ash (The Girl Who Declared War) All songs copyright 2008 by Marty Peploe. The few samples used are copyright of their respective owners. |

HAA yeah dude its my 6th album for the year, i've done 3 ep's as well (2 as stray square)
Hope you like it man, thanks for supporting me the past year, it's people like you who really make this worthwhile, knowing i can provide new music for people for free, who seem to enjoy it really makes my day.Seriously dude, I appreciate it so much. Epic thanks to Rob Instigator for digging my shit and posting it on fuppets, and to Sherrif Rhys Chatham for releasing my shit on Starker Klang Records throughout the year. I owe you guys so much |

The beauty of making music is that no matter what you create, there will always be an audience waiting for you. I like that thought.

Yeah, I think this is my favorite for sure. I haven't been able to listen to it intently, but I absolutely love ambient music when it's not taken to ridiculous extremes, which you don't.
It's easy to say "Oh, this is pretty good" to someone when you hear their own stuff, so I don't know how skeptical you are when you get encouragement, but seriously, your stuff is fucking good. I wouldn't expect any more out of a store-bought CD. My favorite is Kynan. |
