Has anyone seen Larry Clark's latest film Wassup Rockers (2005).
I read Richard Hell's review and it sounds pretty cool. http://www.wassuprockers.net/

Haven't seen it yet but I'm really looking forward to it... even though I can't find a release date for it in the UK.
His last movie Ken Park didn't come out here because Larry physically attacked the the distributor during an argument... I eventually got to see it by buying the dvd from Japan which of course has the genitals censored... in the end I had to buy it from Russia to see the uncensored version. It's not easy being a film fanatic.

For anyone else in the uk, you can get the uncut version here. http://www.demonoid.com/files/details/347752/ I've only seen Clark's kids so far, downloading ken park at the moment. I'm assuming everyone who's already posted here has seen Harmony Korine's Gummo, if not, track it down! |
