I'm writing my final papers for my Jazz, Culture, and Social Justice class right now and I'm writing this current two pages on an article from Louis Armstrong's autobiography (though it was ghostwritten from notes) on what it means to swing.

Maybe. But those "if you ask, you'll never know" are usually just to emphasis how complex or pre-rational the concept is. I know what swing is and the article did pretty well in explaining it.
And the link above is oozing with swing. |
