I could have seen Boris play Amoeba but I only just learned about it now (looking up the Thurston show). Very lame because I thought about going to pick up a record.

Lots of stuff off of Pink.
"Farewell" was as triumphant as you could hope for, and a lot of the more rockin' material was pretty grand. Kurihara and Wata traded off lead duties and their different styles totally worked together. One of the songs from Pink ended up going on for WAY too long, but hey, that's just my opinion. Clone and I also had the wonderful opportunity to see Paul Metzger open, which you fools will miss out on. My ears are still ringing. |

man, when i saw them at sxsw, they opened with "blackout" and it was fucking awesome. "farewell" was great, too. they played lots of stuff from "pink" and "akuma no uta". hopefully next week will be the same, but with some stuff from rainbow as well.
