"So I was thinking about my upcoming holidays when..."
I'll start over. This summer I'm going to Krakow and Hong Kong (cheap flights to HK). Last year I was in Prague, Amsterdam, Edinburgh and the like. The year before that my main holiday was Rome, did France too and Dublin, and the year before that was Berlin and... You see where I'm going with this. I live in England. Now I know you Americans live in a huge country and all but seriously, what do you guys do over the summer? Check out Canda, S. America? I mean surely coming to Europe is pricey right? It's just always seemed like the most natural thing in the world to take a £25-50 flight to a European country or somewhere closer to the former Soviet bloc for me (and the rest of us Brits I'd imagine), but what do you guys do? Plans?! What're prices like???!?!!!!!?!?!!!!

I remember cheaply jetting off all of europe each summer as a child. These days I go out of my way to finance bigger holidays to other continents. Mainly North America.
People say 'blah blah americans are uncultured most of them have never left the country' and such, but WHY LEAVE? It has all the landscape and weather and interesting stuff you could ever want. Evergreen forests in the same country as DESERT? It's amazing. |

Mexico is a fine (and cheap) place to spend down time for those of us in the southwestern US.

I love the way America is structure, to outsiders we might seem uncultured, but in reality we are not.

i don't know if i'll be able to travel this summer, too many transitions, but if i do i'll stay within ths u.s.; i've never been to san francisco or seattle and i'd like to go. that is if i can, too many transitions at the moment to allow for planning...
