Well, I think one reason why I am not very much into new music is that most new bands have very poor vocals. There are not such a vocalists these days like Tom Waits, Beefheart, Dr. John, Cave, PJ, Björk, Kate Bush, Sandy Denny, Iggy Pop, Ian Curtis, Jim Morrison, Janis Ian, Laura Nyro etc.
