I hate to be the immature one here, but does that unidentifiable blue object in front of the cow's mouth not look slightly phallic? What show is that?

His name is 'Bully', and he's the mascot of 'Bullseye'. He's clinging onto a dart for dear life. 'Bullseye' was a darts-based quiz. Every week, several contestants would win the 'BFH' (bus fare home') whilst one lucky pair would instead go on to fail miserably in the final round, narrowly missing out on winning a caravan.

Yes, the aforementioned 'blue thing' is the end of a dart. Thanks for the youtube link. It actually still runs on some obscure digital channels now and again. I saw it the other day and it's still ace. The big prize was always great because it was either a car, a caravan or a speedboat which was next to useless for 90% of the contestants.

I think the best game show the states had for kids was Double Dare, and even then its only appeal was that you got to rejoice in the humiliation of the contestants being slimed.
We don't like to get too sophisticated with our entertainment. Stirs up trouble. |

We had a kid's show called 'Runaround', where Mike Reed would shout at children for getting the answers wrong.

I remember watching The Price is Right when I stayed home from school. Good memories with that one...
