He's just launched a Bandcamp site, TinyMixTapes points out, where he's releasing eight albums full of rare material. Together, they're called Steamroom 1-8. Listen to the 20-minute "Falling Wall", off Steamroom 1, above. They were recorded or remastered in various circumstances, many in recent years in Tokyo; Steamroom 7 is O'Rourke's soundtrack for the Makino Takashi film The World. A download costs $7 per record.
http://steamroom.bandcamp.com/ should this one be posted in sy section as well? |
