Wilco's coming to Huntsville (probably a first for a band like this) and I can go for a price of $35. I've only heard Yankee Hotel Foxtrot and though I like it, I don't listen it to it that much.
But the real decision I need to make is should I a) grasp this oppurtunity of a good band playing within 30 minutes of home or b) save my money and get some recording equipment? |

GO! you wont be dissaponited. They have so many great records aside from YHF, and from what I've heard, they rock live. please go, so you can tell us all about it.

I know the dilemma you have. So few bands come through my part of the world, that when a decent enough band is playing in your back yard, its sort of hard not to pass up the oppurtunity to see them, considering you get to see such few shows of quality.
With that being said, I'd totally skip out on seeing Wilco for $35. |

Pretty much what I'm thinking. When I first saw they were coming to Huntsville I thought Well surely the tickets won't be more then $20, but I was wrong and now I'm not sure I want to spend that much. As of now, I'm leaning towards saving my money (which was my initial thought when I first saw the price). |

I've never been into Wilco, but I really like the albums that they did with Billy Bragg.

Without question you should go. Do whatever it takes to scrape up $35, get in yr car, and enjoy.
I saw them a year or so ago, and I thought they put on the best show that I have seen in the last ten years (including SY). I will see them again in October at the Tall Stacks festival in cincinnati (for a measly $20 though). Despite what anyone tells you, Wilco is a fun and noisy band to see.
