anyone ever listen to these folks? they're playing bonnaroo and after reading a short description they sound awesome based on their personel

Fucking right! I love Oysterhead. Check them out. Les, Trey, and Stewart....that's an all-star lineup.

pretty good. i don't like phish at all, but trey adapted pretty well to working w/ les & stu. i haven't listened to them in years, i used to rock 'the grand pecking order" all the time.

Yeah.....I think they are much more of a "Les heavy" band than a "Trey heavy band." There is a good version of Shadow of a Man on Les's new dvd 5 Gallons of Diesel.
