I'll probably lose, but I just think they brought a uniqueness to punk, & how to be a musician in a punk band. But that's just me.

Listening to FFFRV right now, & eveytime I hear the opening for "Kill The Poor", I get excited for the rest of the album 'cuz it's such a unique opening for a punk record. (IMO)

Jello Biafra is basically the only cool alumunus to ever attend my high school. And by attend I mean enrolled anyways. So i gotta love the dead kennedy's, they are the definition of punk to me.

I blew them off for the longest time because alot of stupid kids I knew liked them. A friend of mine loanded me Plastic Surgery Disasters and I was shocked. They actually were super good. I love how raw the sound quality is. You're right Marley, Moon Over Marin is a perfect closer to that album. I'm actually using that song for my next skate part.

Yeah, "Bedtime For Democracy" is my least favorite DK album.
My favorite has to be "In God We Trust Inc." But, I still haven't heard all of the DK catalouge so, that's just the favorite out of what I have in my collection.

They started with Soup is Good Food when I saw 'em,which if you know the song is kinda mid-tempo tunage,so the crowd was sorta...this is cool and not really being moved too much...but then Natzi Punks Fuck Off followed and absolute bedlam ensued....it was the Frankenchrist tour but they played like 7 or 8 from Bedtime, about a year and a half before it was actually released.Interestingly, about 4 or 5 local punk acts opened for them and one of them was Vatican Commandos, featuring a teenage Moby.

Man, sounds like an all-around great show. I love it when groups play unreleased songs live.
