Looking for Bandmates Online ??

The reason why i post this is because I'm going to post an ad on craiglist for a drummer and I wanted to know if anyone else here had any other sites that were good for this thing ? For the people who tried to recruit online howd it turn out? Are there better routes?

It's driving me absolutely insane that I've been writing songs over the past few years but don't have a band to play them with especially when I hear garbage on the radio that I know Im better than. The old saying that "finding a good drummer is hard" rings absolutely true as I haven't encountered one yet. I want to do shows so badly but am at a stalemate without a proper band.

Oh yea and if anyone here is interested and lives in Massachusetts please reply. The band sounds like a mesh of pixies, stooges, sonic youth, built to spill, mbv, pavement, jamc, buzzcocks, wilco, flaming lips and neil young.

I have been looking for a decent drummer for 14 years now. Do it yourself until you find people.
