Punk Rock USA. Part 1: Record producer Craig Leon tells the story of American punk from the 1960s garage rock of the Pacific Northwest through to The Stooges and New York punk scene. Listen here or I'm sure it will be available on iPlayer. It's 6music so it will be a pretty straightforward telling of the 'mainstream' side of the story, but at least it's not Phil Jupitus. |

If you know anything about the subject you'll learn nothing new.
So it's a good introduction or just good to listen to the music. I don't think my life would have felt incomplete without it. |
