Screamingskull you have a bunch I wish I could squeeze into my top 20. They'll have to added to the runners-up list: Ghost World, Breakfast Club, Girl Interrupted, Virgin Suicides, and Ice Storm. Wow. All fantastic movies.

the ice storm is just a beautiful film, i love it so much. have you read the book?

I tried the book after seeing the movie, and I think I just felt so awed by the movie, at the time, that the book didn't make much of an impression.

yeah i found it explained it's self too much. like it wouldn't say
"they stood in the empty pool" instead it would say "they stood in Ryans empty pool which had once been the place that local kids had held parties, a place full of joy that now looked to cold and uninviting that even blah blah blah blah". that for 250 pages!, its like come one get on with it!
